Booking Policy

 

Payments 

  • All prices are in American Dollars USD including taxes (IGV) (GST).
  •  Bookings will be confirmed and held on receipt of a deposit to Cycle Peru, the deposit amount is $US 500.00 per person.
  • Methods of Payment: We accept Bank Deposit or credit card via paypal. Please note there is a $5 US processing charge per deposit on payments via credit card.
  • If these methods of payment do not suit, please make contact with us to discuss other options.
  • Your Balance is due 60 Days prior to the tour departure date.
  • The Balance of your trip is paid via bank deposit, direct into a USD account.  If you wish to pay your balance with credit card via Paypal, please note there will be a 2% surcharge for this service.  
  • If you wish to pay in NZ dollars we can offer this service, but please note there is a 2.5% currency conversion fee on the total NZD amount. Please contact us for more details on this service. 

 

Cancellation / Refunds

  • Cancellations outside 60 days of the departure date will receive a refund of the deposit and/or any monies received in payment
  • Cancellations from 60-45 days will lose the deposit only and will receive a refund of the remaining amount.
  • Cancellations 45-30 days prior to departure will receive a 50% refund of the full amount
  • Cancellations within 30 days of departure will receive no refund.
  • Cycle!Peru has the right to change any part of the itinerary at any time, due to circumstances outside of our control, such as weather conditions, road conditions or social and/or political factors.

 

Travel Insurance


  • It is mandatory that you have full travel insurance; this must include personal injury, illness, and travelling cancelations, for all our tours to guard against the unexpected.

 

Single Supplement


  • All our trips are organized and priced on a twin/double share basis.
  • Single Supplement is available at an extra cost. If you are traveling on your own and request a twin share, we will match you with a same sex rooming partner. 

 

Responsibilities 


  • All participants take part at their own risk and agree to indemnify Cycle Peru against claims for loss or damage to personal property, personal injury (or death) and any claim arising from the participants own actions.
  • We shall not be liable for the theft of your bicycle (whether hired or not) or injury as a result of cycling, either on or off the road.

 

Cyclists


  • While we take great care to provide a safe cycling experience for you at all times, it is understood that a level of personal responsibility is taken by each client, and it is expected that all cyclists behave in a safe manner.
  • Your guiding staff have the right to advise you, and if need be can remove you from the cycling sections at any point if they feel you are endangering yourself or others with your actions.
  • If cyclists choose to bring their personal bike for a tour, they acknowledge that we take no responsibility for the condition of their bike. It is their own responsibility both before and during the tour to ensure that the bike they are bringing is in a safe condition to ride. 

 

Privacy


  • The information given in your booking will only be used by Cycle Peru. We will not pass on any information to third parties, except in the case of medical details, which may be passed on to medical staff in the event of an emergency.

 

In completing our booking request form you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the above conditions and safety terms.
